We will be holding a 10th grade course registration information meeting for current 9th grade students (Class of 2016) on Monday, March 4 in the Main Campus Auditorium at 6:30 pm. The meeting will last approximately one hour. We will be discussing the following items:
- New classes and/or class changes for the 2013-2014 school year
- Graduation requirements
- Important on-line course selection information
- Course selections for 10th grade and beyond
- Testing out procedures
- Teacher request procedures
- Tech Center information, including which courses can fulfill certain graduation requirements
- Where to look for college and scholarship information
We are also excited to have Jodi Chycinski, Director of Admissions for Grand Valley State University. She will be speaking about what can be done during the high school years to better prepare for college and how to use your EXPLORE, PLAN, and ACT scores while in high school.
NEW THIS YEAR:
Following the meeting in the Auditorium, computers will be available in rooms 105 and 106 and in the Media Center for anyone who would like to register for classes that night. Counselors and current high school seniors will be available to answer questions and help with the registration process.
